Holy Cow! This last year, there were parts that were fast and parts that were uber slow. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we are just about finished with 2011, though. It’s a good thing though. This year has been full of ups and downs.
One up has been that I published my first book, on my birthday this year! That was exciting! Since then, I have sold 6 copies of “Fighting For Love”. Thank you fans for reading my blog and my stories.
I’m excited to announce that in 2012 I will be focusing on releasing the Savanna Edwards/Finn Jacobs story: “Charlotte’s Revenge”. Over the last month I had the opportunity to go to some write-ins for NaNoWriMo(I’ll update you on that in a minute) and realized that I need to go through and change Savanna’s novel: “Charlotte’s Revenge” into third person and add most of Finn’s story to it. It makes more sense to have it that way, since most of “The Brothers” is currently repeated scenes from “Charlotte’s Revenge”
I will be spending most of December first adding to Savanna’s point of view and then working on changing it to third person chapter by chapter. It will be a big undertaking but I think it will be worth it in the end. I am in need of an editor. I would prefer someone local; however, if I can’t get someone local, I’ll settle for someone who will be willing to wait to be paid. What I can offer is for your name to be alongside mine on the Kindle and Nook page as the Editor. Just like the one for “Fighting For Love”. If you are interested please comment here or on my FB Fan page or any other means you are aware of to get a hold of me!
Now, on to NaNoWriMo news. Sadly, I did not work on the story I started. It became too depressing. I started another one. Keeping the original story in my word count. I did make it to almost 17,000 words. So, for being in school, getting sick, meeting a guy online, and writing a novel, I think I did pretty good!
I hope you all enjoy the last month of 2011. I hope to keep you posted on “Charlotte’s Revenge”. I’m almost done with this semester of classes. Wish me luck on Finals!
